- Compare the bones of a chicken and a cow. Â Which is heavier? Â Which is smaller? Â Why is one lighter and smaller?
- Take two papertowels. Â Spread shortening on one. Â Then pour water over the towels? Â Discuss how feathers protect birds against water and the elements.
