my partnership with Alamo last year. We went skiing with kids, took an amazing family vacation and played car ride games.
The good news is that the travel story continues and so does my partnership with Alamo Rent Car as a Chief Travel Guide. There will be more articles here on Kids Activities Blog and more gorgeous and inspiring pins over on Pinterest (follow Alamo Rent a Car by clicking here). Be sure to also follow along on Alamo’s Scenic Route blog!
I thought it would be fun to look back over the last year and do a little sight-seeing to remember the journey of last year. This was a picture taken from my Fort Lauderdale hotel room the night before a cruise – such a different view from my inland Texas home!
Back closer to home in Texas…these colorful balloons were at a downtown Austin event.
And for a truly Texas experience, Friday Night Lights in a small town can’t be beat!
Go Lions!!!
We saw a concert in Dallas and basked in the green lights and…
…laid by the ocean under brightly colored umbrellas.
I hugged a French chicken.
The entire family enjoyed a new “water sport”!
We explored miles and miles of trails on our bikes. Some trails were flat…
…and some were in the mountains which required serious biking gear!
We made more than our fair share of s’mores.
And held our breath here and there hoping that everything was going to turn out all right.
We can’t wait to jump in the Alamo rental car and see where this year leads…
Join me in Alamo’s Insider Program. Together we will save 5% on rentals (that adds up quickly!) and get great deals not available to others…pssssst! It is free to join!
Have you ever read a really good book? You know the kind…you don’t want it to stop?
Or binge watching a favorite TV series and you can’t bear to say goodbye to the characters that are now good friends?
That is how I felt about Welcome to Kids Activities!
My name is Holly Homer & I am the Dallas mom of three boys…
