We are super excited to be part of a fun event that will be happening on Twitter next Wednesday, February 19 at 8:30 pm under the #Thrively hashtag! We have been working with Thrively – a new site that assesses and suggests local activities for kids.  It is part of the celebration of their expansion into our area, Dallas-Fort Worth as well as Houston. They can now be found in  California, Boston, Philadelphia, DC and Seattle with  Chicago, Portland, Denver/Fort Collins/Boulder to be added by the end of the month. Yep, we are kinda into kids activities…so it has been a perfect fit. Oh!  And we are giving away an iPad Mini to a Twitter party participant!

Summer Camp Planning

As a mom, I don’t even want to THINK about summer camps in February, but know from experience that if I don’t do it now…what my kids want to do this summer will likely be full! Ack! This is one of the reasons why Thrively is so good for me. Discover Your Child’s Strengths at Thrively.com from Thrively on Vimeo. My kids took the kid assessment and now Thrively can guide me to activities and summer camps in my hometown that fit each child. It makes planning so much easier with the bonus that I won’t be waiting until the last minute and can actually get in on some of the early dates and discounts.

The more I think about it, the more I do want summer to come!  It is a fun time for the entire family and once I get over the overwhelming-ness of the planning, it will be smooth sailing!
