OK, so you know how much I love my
Sleep Number bed…
I might have gone on and on about that a bit when I reviewed the Sleep Number temperature balancing sheets.*
*I was given a set of those sheets for review and have since purchased a second set which seemed easier than changing my laundry schedule.
So when the dear people at Sleep Number asked me to try out their new AirFit Adjustable Pillow, I said YES.**
**I actually did yell YES so the all caps is not an exaggeration.
These pillows will be available mid-November and I felt super lucky to get a sneak peek.
The pillow arrived in a box, but even before I removed the packaging, it was obvious that this was no regular pillow.
It is heavy!
Serious weapon in a pillow fight.
It might LOOK like a regular pillow, but there is a secret compartment that contains an air valve:
The fabric corner folds back to reveal the adjustable technology.
The AirFit pillow is easy to adjust:
- Lay down with your head on the pillow.
- Open air valve and let air out to desired level of support.
- Close air valve.
- Opening the air valve without pressure on the pillow will fill it back with air.
Magical.
So was the pillow comfortable?
I haven’t a clue.

I haven’t a clue because my husband took the pillow and has slept on it since we received it.
He really likes it.
He isn’t going to give it up.
He has a tendency to be a bit picky about these things so the fact that he really likes it is a recommendation in itself.
The AirFit Adjustable pillow will be available in 3 options: CoolFit Foam, Memory Fiber and European White Goose Down. The one that we were sent was the Memory Fiber style.

I have yet to find a decent pillow and the one I have I have to carry around with me wherever I go. This looks like something I would LOVE>

I’m not very good at keeping my house clean but for some reason my bed is my oasis (though not that surprising). It is always clean and always comfortable. Except my pillows always go flat and now I feel like I’m sleeping on a piece of cloth-covered cardboard!
I don’t spend as much time with it as I should… perhaps I should visit it more often!
Dude! This is very timely because when I washed our sheets this week I noticed my pillow had a *gasp* drool stain. While this pillow is totally drool worthy, I would promise to protect it with a pillow cover.
I would love this pillow! We need new pillows anyway so a fancy and super comfy one will be great
