OK, so you know how much I love my
Sleep Number bed…
I might have gone on and on about that a bit when I reviewed the Sleep Number temperature balancing sheets.*
*I was given a set of those sheets for review and have since purchased a second set which seemed easier than changing my laundry schedule.
So when the dear people at Sleep Number asked me to try out their new AirFit Adjustable Pillow, I said YES.**
**I actually did yell YES so the all caps is not an exaggeration.
These pillows will be available mid-November and I felt super lucky to get a sneak peek.
The pillow arrived in a box, but even before I removed the packaging, it was obvious that this was no regular pillow.
It is heavy!
Serious weapon in a pillow fight.
It might LOOK like a regular pillow, but there is a secret compartment that contains an air valve:
The fabric corner folds back to reveal the adjustable technology.
The AirFit pillow is easy to adjust:
- Lay down with your head on the pillow.
- Open air valve and let air out to desired level of support.
- Close air valve.
- Opening the air valve without pressure on the pillow will fill it back with air.
Magical.
So was the pillow comfortable?
I haven’t a clue.
What? Isn’t this a review? This is the worst product review…ever!
I haven’t a clue because my husband took the pillow and has slept on it since we received it.
He really likes it.
He isn’t going to give it up.
He has a tendency to be a bit picky about these things so the fact that he really likes it is a recommendation in itself.
The AirFit Adjustable pillow will be available in 3 options: CoolFit Foam, Memory Fiber and European White Goose Down. The one that we were sent was the Memory Fiber style.

I would love to win this. My hubby and I are constantly fighting over MY pillow! lol Would love to have one that is comfy and easy to sleep on. Regular pillows get too soft too quick!
I flip my pillow too! I just bought a new one that is “too” puffy to replace my “flat” one. This might be the answer to my dilemma!
I am very interested. Not only does this look like a great product for the home, but I think, even for packing for a weekend camping trip on our motorcycle! We almost always don’t have room for pillows.

I am forever waking up in the middle of the night to turn my pillow to the cool side and plump it up. It drives my hubby crazy. Hey, I have to have a cool pillow when I am sleeping. I so hope I am picked. Would love to try the CoolFit Foam. Hoping it will keep my head cool and I can finally sleep through the night. Thanks for the review 🙂
When I was pregnant, I bought a body pillow and don’t understand how I slept the rest of my life without one. My husband tries to steal it on a nightly basis but I hold my ground. It’s MINE! I would love to have a great new pillow to use. I might even let him have it. 😉
