I have been a big fan of Sleep Number beds…before they added the numbers!
My husband and I were living in rural Texas about 12 years ago when we decided we needed a new bed. We had heard the Select Comfort advertisements on the radio and went online and purchased a King bed to be delivered by mail.
I remember thinking how odd it was that I was waiting for my mailman to bring me my new bed.
It was even odder when it arrived in 5 SMALL boxes.
There is NO WAY a King size bed fits in these boxes!
But it did.
We put it together and gleefully pumped each side of the bed to our desired firmness. My husband sleeps on a rock. I sleep in a cloud. We are both happy.
But I still don’t know what my sleep number is…I am looking forward to upgrading my mattress some day so I can finally find out!
So when Sleep Number contacted me about reviewing their new In Balance sheets, I willingly agreed.
The In Balance sheet is made of a special blend of fabric that allows your bedding to help regulate a good sleeping temperature.
In Balanceâ„¢ bedding, made with Outlast ® material, features proven temperature balancing technology to absorb excess heat. You ™ll stay comfortable all night long, for more restorative sleep. In Balanceâ„¢ sheets are 50% cotton and 50% Outlast ® Adaptive Comfort ®* Viscose fiber. In Balanceâ„¢ material is part of the fabric and its temperature balancing benefits will never wash out or wear out.
Sleep Number sent me a set of sheets to try out. I can testify to the over-sizedness of these sheets because I unknowingly put a Queen set on my King bed. I thought they fit a bit snugly and then noticed the packaging said “Queen”. They continue to fit because we have slept on them for over a week now.
These sheets are SO SOFT. They definitely have a high snuggle factor. I really like the way they feel.
As for the temperature balancing…well, it is August in Texas. That means there are times when the air conditioner is going full blast and I am chilly and there are times when the air goes off and I am hot. It is subtle, but I have noticed that I haven’t kicked off the covers in the middle of the night. So I think it works!
I love these sheets.
The sets retail starting at $224.99, but right now (until August 17) they are running a sale where prices start at $157.49. In the past I have invested in good sheets and have always felt like it was money well spent. I will likely buy another set.
The good news is that YOU can win a set here. Sleep Number is sponsoring a GIVEAWAY and will send one lucky reader a set of In Balance sheets.
THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED AND THE WINNER IS SOON GOING TO BE SLEEPING ON IN BALANCE SHEETS!
Good luck and Good night!
