The Arthritis Foundation is very important to my family! My mother was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis when she was in her early 30’s. I was only 10 years old, but I can remember her not being able to do much of anything. Getting dressed, brushing her hair and even cooking was a challenge. Back then, her arthritis was treated with Tylenol! Now thanks, in part, to the Arthritis Foundation, education and research has been done to help people, like my mom, deal with the pain of Arthritis. My mom has had this disease for more than 30 years. She has her good days and her bad days — but at least it’s manageable. I’m personally grateful to the Arthritis Foundation.
If you want to help the Arthritis Foundation, this is a great opportunity to do it and get a terrific massage at the same time. Last year, this one-day event raised nearly $500,000! That’s incredible.
