Last Sunday found us traveling to the Texas hill country.

We saw beautiful flowers…

and reminders that we are still in Texas.

We floated down the “river”…

and avoided traffic jams.

There was lounging…

and back home more lounging.

There were balancing acts…

and attempts at heavy lifting.

Then we went around the corner…

to a place where the hokey pokey randomly errupts…

proving some of the best roads are close to home.

Take a road trip to Lotus’ place for more pics!

  1. Great pictures – I really felt like I was almost on the trip with you. Except without the time in the car.

  2. Is that the Hyatt Hill Country? I’ve always wanted to stay there. Did you hit Sea World, too, or just Schlitterbahn?

  3. It is BEAUTIFUL there! I don’t know exactly how I pictured Texas, but those pictures startled me. Gorgeous.

  4. The best traffic jam I have seen to date! How fun.

Tubing is really big around here right now, but it’s very dangerous as the melt off has caused the creek’s rapids to become rushing. Definitely nothing lazy about it.

    I want lounging and lazy!

  5. Love your photographs! You clearly have the design eye. Did you know I used to be a photographer? Ugh now I just do point and shoot. Shame on me!

  6. What a lovely vacation! I’m delighted you took the time with your hubby among the beautiful blossoms! Yea!! And the babies were well – that’s doubly awesome.

Now, I crave fried chicken, which is not so awesome…. 🙂

    Happy Sunday.
