What I liked the best

I didn’t want to go to the store today because the grocery store parking lot is always so chaotic and poorly designed that it stresses me out more than just about anything.

I do not want to go to the store today because… I have too much work I’d rather do! After I drop off my car to be fixed, since I was rear-ended on the freeway last week! And who wouldn’t rather spend her Friday evening at the body shop, rather than shopping? Who, I ask you? Who???
I don’t want to go to the store today because I’ve got to prepare food to deliver to a bereaved family this afternoon, then my yard is way past due for mowing, and I just got an email that the church staff needs help moving out of the current office space to another location in preparation for the building to be torn down [our church is beginning a BIG building project]. My daughter & her family are arriving Sunday for a lengthy summer visit. I really should shop…
