How To Put Together This Simple Turkey Craft
Step 1

Place your oatmeal cookie on an orange piece of paper and trace out feathers.
Step 2

Cut the feathers out and glue them to the back of the cookie.
Step 3

Place the cookie and first layer of cookies on green construction paper and trace out another single feather.
Step 4

You’re going to remove the cookie and finish drawing the feather. It doesn’t have to be super long, but long enough to hang off the first layer of feathers.
Step 5
Make 4 green feathers and cut along the drawn line. Take 1 feather and use it as a stencil on the other paper. We used green, blue, red, yellow, brown, and purple. You want 3 of each feathers so you can make a couple cookies at once.
Step 6

Glue the feathers around the first layer of orange feathers.
Step 7

Cut a triangle off of the orange paper and glue it on to be the beak and use construction paper to make the black part of the eyes and glue them on.
Step 8

Paint some white on them as pupils and you’re done!
