1979 - Phrase "May the Fourth Be With You" first used in London as a congrats to Margaret Thatcher taking office as PM. 2011 - First organized Star Wars Day events held in a Toronto Cinema. 2013 - Disney officially observed the holiday in WDW theme parks.
