Protecting our children is a parental mandate. From the moment they take that first breath, we do everything in our power to make sure that nothing bad ever happens to them. And when it does? It’s guaranteed it hurts us WAY more than it hurts them. When this teenager was playing basketball with her father, an accidental injury threatened to change her life forever. In fact, she was paralyzed and given only a 5% chance of ever walking again.
