Kids are going to argue. It doesn’t matter if it makes sense or not, these arguments will always make sense to them. And, as in any argument, it only has to make sense to the person arguing. So when these two littles decide to discuss the weather, an argument over whether it’s raining or sprinkling quickly ensues. I blame their moms. Actually, they both cling to their arguments because it’s what their moms told them…and it’s darling. But even more darling is the child in the middle. Even as her sister and their classmate argue over whether it’s ‘spwinkeling’ or ‘waining’, she tries her darnedest to keep the peace. Even as the little boy calls the other girls existence into question (“you’re pretty, but you aren’t real”), and when the little girl pokes him in the eye and the middle child tells her to apologize. Seriously, you have to take a look…
“Don’t worry, I’ll protect you and she won’t do it again,” the middle one says after her sister ‘pokes him in the heart’. My everything melted. I mean, the look on his face is enough, but when she moves behind him to protect him, that’s it. I’m done. Hopefully they got the whole ‘raining’ or ‘sprinkling’ situation settled eventually, because I feel as if they’re going to have plenty of other things to argue about in years to come.
