We teach our kids to share, but it’s so much harder to teach a dog. Dogs have their own minds, and their own sense of social order, and if one of them has a toy you can sure bet that he’s not going to give it up unless he has to. Which is exactly what’s happening here. This dachshund wants so badly to play with that toy, but his brother is Not going to give it up easily. In fact, it’s almost as if brother is taunting him with it. But this smartie pants has a few tricks and figures out how to get the bigger dog to let his guard down. Take a look!
How funny is that? Sure, dotty didn’t get to keep the toy for long, but even small victories can make you feel victorious. I’m guessing there are plenty of other toys around and if the dachshund really wanted he could find another, but, where’s the fun in that?
