Fast food gets a bad rap, and it’s easy to forget that there are actually restaurants who care about their customers. There are, though! I promise. Think about the videos you’ve seen of McDonald’s employees cutting elderly customers’ food so they can better eat. Or the Wendy’s employee who sits with the same autistic young man every day when he comes in for lunch so he doesn’t get overwhelmed. There ARE restaurants who make a difference, and this Chick-Fil-A in Lewisville, Texas is no exception. Recently a picture surfaced on Facebook of this restaurant reaching out to moms in need… chick-fil-a Now, I’m not sure about you, but I know that when my littles were truly little, there were plenty of times we had blowouts or other mishaps and had to give up entire meals so we could go change. Having more than one kid with you means that the non-blowout kid is going to be losing out on a lunch they probably not only needed, but may have been waiting all day for. And yes, in families sometimes we have to sacrifice for one another, but truly my hat is off to Chick-Fil-A for recognizing this need and meeting it. Here’s hoping other restaurants take not and reach out to their customers in similar ways!
