Even if you aren’t a hockey fan, you’re going to love this story. During a recent game between the Rangers and the Senators (two hockey teams, if you aren’t already gathering that), a father promised his kiddo’s that he’d get them a puppy if his favorite player, Bobby Ryan, scored a goal. “I felt more pressure trying to get that puppy then I did calling out to my teammates,” Ryan later quoted. In true dramatic hockey fashion, it wasn’t until the second period that Ryan was able to make his goal. The father later said he kind of wished he’d picked a worse player, but we figure they’re all going to love their new puppy…who they promised to name Bobby, after their star. HOW SWEET!!
