Do you enjoy getting down and dirty when you run? The National MudRunners Association – Flower Mound is hosting their annual Shamrockin’ 5K Mudrun on Saturday, March 9th. Â This fun event has become an annual event for anyone who enjoys a little fun in the mud! And it’s great for families. A kids Mud Run is also part of the activities.
The run starts at 9 am on March 9th. Waves of runners will take off in the mud every half-hour up til 11:30 am. Runners will run through the mud and take on 20 obstacles such as climbing walls, tunnels, ziplines and more. Wow, sounds like fun right? And if you take part you also get a t-shirt, a medal and access to the post race party with live music and complimentary beer for anyone over 21. Proceeds from the race benefit the Legacy Boxer Rescue.

Parking $10
Make sure you bring extra shoes and clothing. You will need to change after the run! And don’t forget cash and your ID, there will be many opportunities to enjoy food and pick up merchandise.
