We went to the apple orchard this week.
We saw a lake inhabited by beavers.
We saw baby chicks.
We saw colorful flowers.
We saw hay bales.
And then we saw our cousin.
And then we got silly.
Apples? I don’t recall if we saw any.

We went once to a pick your own apple orchard with a pre school. They charged about the same price per pound for already picked as the grocery store does. I’ll go to the orchard near my house, where apples are $12 a bushel (40 pounds), rather than $40 a bushel to get them at the first orchard.
