I am going to start highlighting some of my favorite things on a regular basis.
Random stuff I have decided life is too short to live without.
The first one is a new one to me. Friends brought it over recently for poker night. I don’t remember my poker chip count at the end of the night, but I remember that I ate 6 of these.
Yep, these are so good they distracted me from poker.
They are Betty Crocker’s Supreme Bars Mix – Cookie Brownie.
Yes, Betty was certainly on the right track when she decided to COMBINE brownies and cookies.
Win-Win.
It is a boxed mix that takes about 50 minutes to complete. The only downside is that you have to mix the brownie mix and the cookie mix separately which takes a few extra minutes and messes up an extra bowl…but totally worth it.
I made some tonight and they smell so heavenly in the oven that this happened…
I really can’t blame him.
His obsession didn’t end at the oven door…
The cookie bars were a big hit.
The boys loved them.
I was able to restrain myself and only ate one
very large piece so there are a few crumbs for tomorrow’s lunch.
Betty Crocker Supreme Bars Mix – Cookie Brownie with Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips – I found it at Target on the aisle with all the dessert mixes.
