One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is bake with my son. It’s a tradition in my family to gift homemade treats that we’ve made together to neighbors, friends, and relatives.
But here’s the struggle — every year, it gets harder and harder to carve out time for our baking sessions. This year, I’ve turned to the new Betty Crocker Brittle Mixes for help.
This new line of snackable brittle mixes, baked to provide a thin and crunchy twist on some of your favorite flavors. They provide the perfect amount of crunch and crisp and are sure to satisfy any snack craving.
Betty Crocker Brittle Mixes come in three flavors and are available on the baking aisle in your local grocery store:
- Betty Crocker Brittle Mix – Brownie
- Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Brittle Mix
- Betty Crocker Peanut Brittle Mix
The best part is just how easy they are to prepare!
We made the Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Brittle Mix for our gifts. All that we needed was the Brittle Mix and 1 stick of softened butter.
Mix the butter and the brittle mix to make a dough and press it onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-13 minutes.
Allow to cool completely, then break into pieces.
We packed our homemade treats in a holiday-themed tin and added these fun printable holiday gift tags for a festive flair!
