A stunning teenager is thanking exercise for saving her life after attempting to kill herself THREE times. Courtney Lorking, 18, from Central Coast, Australia, had to get stitches on her wrist after three suicide attempts just four weeks apart. Her helpless parents, Debbie,59, and Bruce, 67, were devastated as their daughter battled extreme anxiety – something that left her housebound. But after months of turmoil, Courtney decided to join the gym and began lifting weights. And now she’s thanking exercise for saving her life – she’s no longer suicidal and has even began studying to become a personal trainer. Take a look!
Parents who are helping their teens work through anxiety or depression often feel alone in their battle, but by sharing her story, this teen and her parents let other families know they are not alone. And if you keep working at it, eventually you’ll find the right tool to make it through.
