When we imagine our kids getting along, I think we imagine them playing with the same toy. Or sharing a roll at the dinner table. Or maybe they’re just really sweet and cuddly laying next to each other watching cartoons on the floor. It’s such a sweet and endearing thing to imagine them sharing sweet memories, keeping each other occupied, happy, safe…but for this mom, she discovered that her kids not only get along, but that the older one helped his younger sibling perpetrate an escape. Yes, this isn’t exactly the image we have in our heads, but it’s definitely one of the funniest examples of bros being bros that I’ve ever seen. Take a look!
What I love is that the older brother is so sweet through the whole thing. Not only is he helping his younger sibling escape, but he’s so patient and calm about it. He walks him through step-by-step. Luckily all they escaped from was a crib…but if I were mom, I’d keep an eye on things in the future.
