Moms see the world differently than most. Before I was a mom I would find myself annoyed by any child acting out in the grocery store. If one of my nieces or nephews drew something abstract and asked me if I liked it, I always said yes, but that was because I loved them, not because it was high art. After I became a mom, everything shifted. Suddenly this little being looked to me for everything. I knew that how I acted in any given situation had the potential to impact my child. So I became more patient. Kinder. More loving. Scribbles became expressions of emotion. Acting out in the store became signs of stress, or being tired, or just needing a moment of quiet. I know this is just a skit, but the way these dads suddenly see the world differently once they put on ‘mom goggles’ really is how I felt once I had a child. The world is so different, but also so incredible. Take a look!
