This is truly one of the most terrifying things I’ve ever seen. Imagine being on a family vacation, enjoying the sun, watching the boats at the wharf, and seeing a cute sea lion popping his head up out of the water. That’s exactly what was happening this weekend when this video took place. With a crowd of bystanders looking on, a sea lion popped his head out of the water as if to say hello to everyone. A younger girl sat on the edge of the wharf wall and without any warning the sea lion lurched out of the water, grabbed her by her dress and dragged her under. This all took place at Steveston Fisherman’s Wharf, Richmond B.C. Canada. Take a look!
The girl was quickly rescued by family members and other bystanders, but this truly was a horrifying and unexpected moment that I’m certain none of them will ever forget. I know I sure won’t.
