Some babies just do NOT like to share. Be it their toys, or their food, or their affection, they are stingy little buggers until the day they aren’t. My daughter was one of those babies. She went through a phase a little before she was two years old where she absolutely did NOT want to share her love with anyone. At first I thought she thought it was a game, but then it was pretty clear that she was going through a little toddler thing and I stopped trying to push it. As soon as it passed, it passed. She became a lovey-dovey little cutie pie again and has been every day since. This baby doesn’t like to share, either, but for him that means sharing his mom and dad – with each other. Every time he sees his parents try to kiss, he stops them. And it is the cutest thing ever, I swear! Take a look!
I’m sure this will pass someday, too, but until then I’m guessing there will be a lot of illicit kissing behind closed doors…which, let’s be honest, is probably how he got there in the first place.
