We’ve all received a gift at some point or another that we loved more than we could explain. When I was ten it was my Baby Heather doll. She was my everything. She was a 1980’s version of a robotic doll and she said things like, “I love you” and “Feed me, mommy.” I held her and rocked her. I woke up in the middle of the night to make sure she was still sleeping. It was an obsession that probably would have worried my parents if it weren’t for one thing…Baby Heather dolls tended to lose their heads. Yeah. My baby’s head popped off. Not once, but twice. The first time it happened my parents returned the doll to the store and told me she had ‘surgery’ when they brought home the new one. The second time we all just had to accept that Baby Heather was in a better place… This little girl doesn’t have to worry about her toy spontaneously decapitating. In fact, from the looks of it the only thing her parents will ever have to worry about is how to get her off of it. Take a look!
