Best Part Of Summer? Blowing Up Watermelons!
Ah summer. It’s so close I can practically taste it. Every night now I hear crickets chirping outside my window. I’m already imagining ice cold glasses with condensation slipping down the side. The scent of bar-b-que wafting through windows. The crackle of heat in the air – actually, that crackle might be the sound of someone trying to blow up a watermelon. Like this guy. That’s also one of my favorite parts of summer…watching things blow up. Usually for the Fourth of July, but I’ll take it where I can get it. And honestly? Watching this watermelon go kaboom was WAY cooler than I thought it would be. I imagined chunks flying, but I never imagined it would look quite like this! Take a look!
Pink mist. That’s all that’s left. And yeah, most of us won’t get to do an experiment like this, but how fun was it to watch? Personally, I’d rather eat a watermelon than blow it up, but I’m definitely glad I got to see someone Else blow it up.
