Giving birth is tricky business. Yes, women have been doing it since humans became human, but that doesn’t make it any less tricky. And, in a lot of ways, it’s harder today than ever. For one, you’re told not to go to the hospital until your contractions are so far apart. And even then if you aren’t dilated properly it can take a long while of waiting around in pain, hooked up to machines before you ever hold that little infant in your arms. So we wait. Especially after the first one. We wait at home because we know waiting at the hospital can be a drag. Only, sometimes we wait too long. Take a look!
I’ve seen this video a few times and every single time it blows me away. She knows the baby is coming. Hubster is trying to get her there as fast as possible and because humans have been having babies forever, well, baby comes when it’s ready. Definitely not how I’d want to give birth, but truly incredible to watch!
