Finding out you are pregnant, especially after you’ve been trying for a while, is the biggest joy of life. Every moment feels like an eternity between that plus sign and finally seeing that little baby on an ultrasound. But then – what if there’s more than one? With so many couples going through fertility treatment pregnancies, the reality of multiple births has become almost normalized. Shows about multiples are all over television. We see quints and sextuplets and septuplets almost on a routine basis and it’s easy to forget that these babies sometimes ALL want your attention at the same time. This father of triplets experiences that first hand when they all three wake up ready to be held. Take a look!
Parenting one infant is exhausting. Two is a handful and more than anyone should manage alone…but three and more? Yeah, total nightmare. Sure, the idea of multiples seems fun and exciting at first, but times like this would make any parent want to run for the hills. All I can say is good luck, dad. You’re going to need it! And, maybe, a second set of arms.
