My kids tell me they’re bored all the time, and my response is always the same: Go find something to do. I love my kids, but the whole “I’m Bored” schtick gets really old really fast. I don’t want them to grow up and be adults who Have to be entertained all the time. And they are certainly old enough they don’t need me to entertain them all the time. That’s why I love this video. These are some really simple little things I can show my kids for the next time they’re bored. None of these need me to supervise them, and they all look really creative and fun. I love spending time with my kids, but when they need entertaining I want them to be able to manage that on their own. This is a great start! Take a look!
I never thought about the water droplets before and that’s the one I think I love the best. It looks so relaxing and soothing. I imagine my daughter, especially, will really love that one. My son will Totally be into making dry erase markers dance. Looks like I’ll be stocking up on supplies and the kids will be armed next time they have nothing to do!
