Horse Discovers Splashing In The River Is Fun Kids Activities Blog

Conquering fears is something hard for anyone to do, more so when you’re an animal and don’t quite understand what you’re afraid of in the first place. Actually, I imagine animals and children face the same challenges in this respect. With children the entire world is new, and big, and sometimes scary, and literally everything they do is an opportunity to either conquer a fear or face it head on. Same with this horse. At first the horse doesn’t want to go into the river, but the rider coaxes it to anyway. Once they get in, and the horse sees there isn’t anything to fear, that’s when the real fun begins! Take a look! What I love is that the rider is the one who taught the horse to splash. They both look like they’re having so much fun, but I wonder if she ever expected her horse to react this way to splashing in the water. Much like a child, the second this horse figured out there was fun to be had, that’s all it wanted to do: splash away and have fun. Looks like they both had a great time, though, and thankfully we got to watch!
