When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with books. One of my favorite pictures of myself is me as a little tiny girl, sitting in the middle of a bed with a book wide open on my lap. We went to the library so often when I was little that our librarian started setting books aside just for me. And I read everything, too. It was anything I could get my hands on from as early as I could actually understand the words. Pretty soon I realized I could write my own stories and that became the obsession. For me it’s worked out well. I make a living as a writer, and have never lost that love. For this little girl, it’s flamenco. Take a look!
Her dad said Gigi started by watching one video of a flamenco dancer, and that was it. She started stealing her mom’s shoes and dancing around the house in them. He started recording her and pretty soon a professional flamenco dancer saw one of the videos and sent Gigi a pair of her own shoes. That’s what this video is about. Who knows if this obsession will last her a lifetime like it has me, but from the looks of things, she’s already off to a great start!
