When it comes to announcing a pregnancy, there are so many different ways it can be done. The ol’ handing someone a pregnancy test strip with the two lines showing is always a classic. Or, of course, there are the onesies in a gift bag. That’s always fun. My friend told her parents she was pregnant by inviting them over to dinner and serving nothing but baby foods: baby back ribs, baby carrots, baby red potatoes. It didn’t take them long to figure out what was going on, and their reaction was priceless. This guy, though. This guy takes the baby cake, so to speak. His friends are visiting for brunch and he asks them, “So when are we getting together again?” Take a look!
I love how he just drops the news very casually. Like, “We could do Thanksgiving. Or y’all could come over a couple of weeks earlier and meet our new baby.” And every goes silent. No one knows exactly what he said at first. And then, BOOM! They all get it. It’s amazing! And probably the best subtle pregnancy announcement I’ve ever seen in my life.
