What kid hasn’t imagined slipping into a bathtub or swimming pool filled with gooey – something – and taking a good long dip. When I was a kid I imagined swimming in everything from Jello, to spaghetti, to pudding, to slime but never dreamed I’d actually see anyone do something like that. In the age of the internet, though, there are people out there doing ALL those things we thought about as a kid, and they’re having a blast doing it. Sort of. This guy climbs into a swimming pool filled with clear silly putty and we finally get to see first hand exactly what it would be like to be submerged in the stuff. Unfortunately, he didn’t think about things like hair or shorts before he climbed in and, well, take a look!
So getting out doesn’t appear to be the easiest thing ever, but I don’t think that’s going to stop me from still dreaming of someday swimming in a pool full of spaghetti. Maybe not silly putty, though. I think he cured me of that one.
