Going to the zoo is our favorite activity. You might think it would get boring and repetitive looking at the same animals every time, but we do something to make it different.

You know those little signs with lots of information about the animals that no one ever reads? We make it a point to read and fully study a different one each trip. Then when we get home we do a quick internet search to learn even more about that animal.

By picking a different animal each time it keep their interest and keeps the kids wanting to go back.

Going for a walk in nature is one of our favorites and makes for a good form of exercise too. We often pick up lots of leaves and do bark drawings which keeps the kids occupied for hours after we get back.
