It’s Playtime – Our Thursday Kid Activities Link-Up

.
Simple activities are great! They give our children the freedom to be creative, to adapt, imagine and create. Of the hundred plus activities that were linked to in last week’s “It’s Playtime” the one by Kelly of Little Wonder’s Days grabbed my attention. On a day when I am sick or when we have ten min to spare, we can do this! We can grab a bag of disposable cups (or even our plastic dinner ones) and the kiddos can build kitchen floor skyscrapers.  It is so simple, so doable, so versatile! Have your kids been inspired by the simple things before? I’d love to hear about it… and check out her blog for tons of other activities perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. When you add your play-related blog post to our linky, it appears on all of the following blogs:

Jaime of Hands On: We Grow is featuring hand and foot artwork

Rachele of Messy Kids is featuring Back to School Activities

Anna of The Imagination Tree is exploring science

Jenny of Let the Children Play is featuring fun with stones

Visit them to read about their favorites from last week’s round-up.  Many thanks to my co-hosts for creating a fun resource.  Please note: by submitting you are giving us permission to feature you and use a blog photo.  Also, only play-related, family-friendly posts are accepted.  We would appreciate links back – they tell us we’re loved :)   Happy browsing.
